Biviana Chauchi (Lima, Peru, 1992) is an audiovisual artist. She studied Communication at UPC (Peru) and Production Design for Film and Television at EICTV (Cuba), later completing the LAV Master’s in Audiovisual Creation and Contemporary Practice (Madrid). Her work explores the materiality of the image through the

reuse of objects and the practice of collage—an obsession she has extended to film, which she manipulates and deconstructs to generate new visual forms. At times, she tries to listen with her eyes. Her films have been screened at S8 (Mostra de Cinema Periférico), EIC (Experiments in Cinema), Cineteca de Madrid, Habitar el Cine, Lima Alterna, Xcéntric, Labor Berlin, Obskura, Corrientes, and UnArchive, among others.
