Bárbara Portilla
Bárbara Portilla Santana (1995), born in
Brazil and graduated in Documentary Film at tEscuela de cinematografía y del audiovisual de la Comunidad de Madrid
(ECAM). She is interested in Sharon Lockhart's way of portraying time and
Chantal Akerman's sensitivity. With her documentary classmates, she
participated in the creation of KILL THE SPIDERS, a retrospective of John
Smith, with Documenta Madrid festival. She was curated, with her classmates, a
film series presented at the Casa Encendida, called Ah s***, here we go again…
Sandra Iglesias
Sandra Iglesias (Galicia, 2001) graduated as a
photographer from EASD Pablo Picasso, has worked temporarily as a
photojournalist in Poland. She began her path towards cinema graduating in
documentary from ECAM (Film School of Madrid). She has been part of several
cycles: Kill the Spiders, a program
at the Documenta Madrid festival about the filmmaker John Smith and Peter Watkins, Images at War, a
retrospective at the Reina Sofia Museum. Inspired by the work of Jonas Mekas
and photographers like Jim Goldberg, since she was a child, she has been
interested in portraying the poetic within the ordinary.
Claudia de la Iglesia
Claudia de la Iglesia Díez was born in Madrid
in 2003 and graduated in Documentary Film at ECAM - Escuela de Cine y
Audiovisual. Meanwhile, she has programmed cycles such as LIT- Romería Sangrienta, for La Casa Encendida, the retrospectives Kill the Spiders: John Smith for
Documenta Madrid and Peter Watkins,
Imágenes en guerra for the Reina Sofía Museum. She has worked documenting
events for Filmadrid and for Compañía la Turba
Teatros Canal. Also formed in graphic design, she has worked in different
media, such as video clips and graphic novels.
Marina Forniés
Marina Forniés Briceño (Madrid, 2003) likes to
work, regenerate and recreate with the existing content network; rethinking the
conception of the actual coming of age. She studied documentary filmmaking at
the ECAM and combined it with self-taught music mixing. She has collaborated in
curatorial initiatives with John Smith (Documenta Madrid) and Peter Watkins
(Museo Reina Sofía), as well as with audiovisual collectives (Gran Siglo and
Hasten), music collectives (Lágrima, Amalgama, Insulto and Jardín) and with the
label Interior. Her works are available under the pseudonym Seaina.
