Plot
The search for “The IrupéFlower”, a lost film by Guillermo Fernández-Zúñiga, Spanish pioneer in scientific filmmaking in the early 20th century, triggers a journey into family histories and national ar- chives. As we witness the slow growth of the yrupẽdifferent layers of images and silences emerge.

Candela Sotos
Candela Sotos develops her work between archives, moving images and botanical practices. She studied Audiovisual Communication in Madrid and completed a Master's degree in Fine Arts and Photography at Paris 8. She was also part of the Artists Programme at Torcuato di Tella University in Buenos Aires. Her work integrates various methodologies that connect oral transmission, collaborative practice and the search for means to produce images and narratives around memory. Her projects take the form of installations, editions and fi lms. She has presented his work in exhibitions and screenings at CRA Matadero Madrid, Cineteca, Círculo de Bellas Artes, Real Jardín Botánico, Centro Cultural de la Memoria Haroldo Conti, Fundación Cerezales FCAYC, Centro Huarte, Punto de Vista International Film Festival, Visions du Réel Festival, and Fundación Sandretto Re Rebaudengo, among others.
