FILM REGISTRATION
Submission period for the 14th edition of Márgenes. Madrid Internationl Film Festival, to be held from Novemebr 22 to 30 2024, will run until June 30.
- Official Selection: international competition that showcases films of outstanding cinematic quality, focusing on singular and visionary practices in contemporary cinema as well as the personal vision of the authors.
- Escáner: national competitive section for Spanish films committed to the renewal of audio-visual narratives and to an artistic vision of filmmaking, with special attention to first and second feature films..
Deadline: June 30, 2024 / 11:59 PM (GMT+2).
Submission period for the 14th edition of Márgenes. Madrid Internationl Film Festival, to be held from Novemebr 22 to 30 2024, will run until June 30.
The Festival aims to promote auteur cinema and to disseminate innovative films of high-artistic quality.
There are two competitive sections:
- Official Selection: international competition that showcases films of outstanding cinematic quality, focusing on singular and visionary practices in contemporary cinema as well as the personal vision of the authors.
- Escáner: national competitive section for Spanish films committed to the renewal of audio-visual narratives and to an artistic vision of filmmaking, with special attention to first and second feature films..
Only films never before screened in Madrid, with a minium lenght of 40 minutes and produced after January 1st 2024 are eligible.
Registration fee is
10€ and submissions must be done through
FESTHOME platform.
Before participating, it is mandatory to carefully read and accept the
rules and regulations of this call for entries.
