The polyedric DJ, promoter, and producer Pedro D. Saiz will present I Am Where I Am, a morning session closer to attentive listening than to the dancefloor. Through pieces that question social and aesthetic paradigms, the proposal invites us to rethink how we listen, how we inhabit, and how we dissent.

A listening session that traverses different points of view and works of dissent. Pieces that, from their contexts and eras, question the social paradigms that surround them and open space for new ways of being and hearing. A contemporary journey, sometimes marginal, but always universal, where listening is proposed as a form of thought and resistance. Listening is also a way of understanding each other and feeling accompanied. It makes us part of the conversation that our own species has with itself.

Pedro D. Saiz

Pedro D. Saiz is a music enthusiast, DJ, promoter and active member of the community. For over a decade, he has helped introduce Madrid to new sounds, emerging scenes and transformative ways of listening, building bridges between cultures and movements that intertwine like roots beneath the surface.
 


His sets move with emotional precision — from deep listening rituals to uninhibited club nights, offering space for connection, tension and release. Shaped by the echoes of the 70s, 80s and beyond, and guided by a restless ear for the new, Pedro finds magic in the unexpected synergy between tracks that were never meant to meet.
 


Pedro has shared his perspective at venues like Forest Limit and Mitsuki in Tokyo, Hosoi in Stockholm, and Cafe OTO in London, while remaining a quiet driving force behind some of Madrid’s most forward-thinking activations. Feeding the cultural steppe of Madrid, he continues to support artists, communities, and the unpredictable power of sound.
