Plot
Three ferocious dogs hold a group of young people captive inside the pool of a luxurious house they have broken into, while the neighbors celebrate the start of summer at a nearby party. It is the Night of San Juan, a time ripe for magic.

Basque filmmaker, cinematographer, and producer, graduated from ECAM. His first feature film, True Love, won the first edition of the Márgenes Festival in 2012. Androids Dreams premiered in 2015 at the Berlin Film Festival and went on to screen at numerous national and international festivals and art centers, such as the Viennale, Lincoln Center, Barbican Centre, and the Museo Reina Sofía. In 2019, he co-directed with Chema García Ibarra the short film The golden legend, which premiered that same year at the Berlinale. In 2023, he presented the medium-length film Mámantula, which, after screening at the Rotterdam, San Sebastián, and BAFICI festivals, earned him a Goya nomination. He has worked as director of photography on films such as The Future (Luis López Carrasco, 2013), Karen (Marta Pérez Sanz, 2020), Sacred Spirit (Chema García Ibarra, 2021), The Fantastic Golem Affairs (Burnin’ Percebes, 2023), The Rim (Alberto Gracia, 2024), Ariel (Lois Patiño, 2025), and Aro berria (Irati Gorostidi, 2025). In 2017, he founded the production company Apellaniz y de Sosa together with Leire Apellaniz.
