Information Skies
Netherlands / 2016 / 24'
Plot
Information Skies continues the exploration of truth, perception, and subjectivity in the digital age. The piece unfolds as a fragmented narrative in which a voice-over weaves together live-action footage of natural landscapes, digital abstraction, and anime. Through this blend, Metahaven reflects on how we inhabit an “informational reality” where emotions, beliefs, and algorithms become entangled. A dreamlike speculation that questions the boundaries between sound and image, reality and fiction, factuality and technology, reflection and embodiment.
