La Casa Encendida. Viernes 28/11, 21:00h.
Álvaro Corrochano and Agnes Hayden present at La Casa Encendida a sonic and visual journey that explores how faith is reshaped on the internet. The piece traces new forms of the sacred emerging in digital communities, where devotion adopts the languages and aesthetics of online culture. A contemporary ritual that turns the screen into an altar and the glitch into a revelation.
exe.gesis analyzes how faith is transformed online and adopts its languages, codes, and spaces. Through an auditory and visual journey, the work traces how the sacred circulates in digital communities, where traditional notions of devotion are rewritten through new aesthetic and discursive norms. The visuals interact with patterns and textures generated by acoustic instruments and analog synthesizers, a symbiosis that seeks to reinterpret the space of the sacred, tracing an archaeology of faith that is fragmented, hidden, and mediated by the screen.
Álvaro Corrochano
Álvaro Corrochano is a musician from Madrid who blends acoustic and electronic instrumentation with experimental production, fusing piano and analog synthesizers with ambient textures, percussion, and occasional vocals. After releasing
Ocaso y Derrota in 2021 and
Cenizas in 2023, Álvaro released his debut album
Patterns in early 2025 — a handcrafted work that blurs the line between electronic and contemporary instrumental music. The album is steeped in deep melodies, intertwined synthesizers, various types of piano, vocal pads courtesy of Madrid artist Valdivia, and other acoustic instruments such as the cello.
